Registration and Accommodation

How to register

Access to all congress activities is subject to registration.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance and as early as possible in order to benefit from lower registration fees, have wider hotel accommodation choice and congress evening availability.
You can register by the two following ways: (all payment methods are accepted: check, bank transfer or credit card - VISA, MASTERCARD, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS)
1. by secure online registration and payment via the congress website
2. by fax or post. Download the registration form from the congress website, complete it and send it to the Congress Office accompanied by the payment.
Registration requests or changes by phone will not be processed.
Upon receipt of your registration and after payment clearance, the Congress Office will email you an electronic invoice summarizing all registration and accommodation details and specifying payment status as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) amounts.

Please remember that only registered participants to JDP 2013 will be able to sign up for and attend workshops, FMC (CME) sessions and forums.
Please refer to the programme and to the registration form for FMC sessions schedule.
Access fee to FMC session: 25€ VAT included per session (except FMC40 at 40€ VAT included).

On site registration

If you are pre-registered, do not forget to print the electronic badge confirmation containing a bar code you received and bring it with you. At the entrance of the congress, go to the welcome desk “Electronic Badge” to scan your bar code and your badge will be printed automatically
If you forgot that electronic confirmation, hostesses will be there to help you.
If you want to register on site, go to the desk “registration on site” (payment by card only) or to the welcome desk “new registration”.
We remind you that only registered participants can attend the scientific sessions.

Name change

Name substitutions are not accepted and will be treated as new registrations with requested payment.
A processing fee of 30€ will be charged for changes in registration.


Registration fees include:

- Admission to the scientific sessions
- Access to posters and exhibition areas
- An electronic badge
- Congress documents (Congress bag, final program, abstracts)
- Option to buy congress evening tickets.

Terms of payment

The Organising Committee has given mandate to MCI for the organization of JDP 2013.
MCI is the sole competent company to receive payments for this Congress.
Payments may be made either:
• by credit card (Visa / Master Card / Eurocard / American Express)
• by cheque to the order of: JDP 2013 / MCI and sent to: JDP 2013 – MCI France, 24 rue Chauchat - 75009 Paris – France
• by bank transfer to the order of JDP 2013/ MCI (bank information are indicted on the registration form): Do not forget to send a copy of your bank transfer when registering and to indicate the participant name on it.



Registration fees are subject to French VAT. VAT rate is of 19,6% (at date of printing – October 2013).


Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail or e-mail) to the Congress Office according to the following conditions and reimbursement will be processed AFTER the Congress.
Requests for refunds made
Up to October 8 2013: 50% will be reimbursed, but 80 € will be withheld for administrative fee
After October 8, 2013:  no refund

Requests for refunds made
Up to October 8 2013: deposit will be reimbursed, except reservation fees
After October 8, 2013:  no refund

Certificates of attendance for pre-registered participants are issued along with the Congress documentation upon arrival. Participants who register on-site can request this certificate at the Welcome Desk (level 3).


CME credits

CME certificates will be available to you after the event. It will be your responsibility to download your certificate at and for processing with your national authority. Your access codes will be: your family name and your registration number.



Hotel rooms at special Congress rates are being held for Congress participants in various hotels of different categories in the vicinity of the conference centre.
To make a reservation, please visit the Congress website:

A PREPAYMENT of the FULL STAY (including booking fees of 18 €) will be requested for all hotel reservations. It will be automatically deducted from the total amount of your hotel bill when leaving.

Room rates

All rates are indicated in Euros, per night and per room. Reservations must be made through the Congress Office to guarantee the indicated rates negotiated for the Congress.

Do not forget:

• If you decide to postpone your stay at the last minute, the rooms will be kept by the hotels according to the amount of the payment received.
• If you are delayed, think of informing the hotel.
